Introduction:
Dabco NE300 catalyst is a third-generation non-emission (NE series) polyurethane foaming catalyst. The foam characteristic of Dabco NE300 catalyst combined with polyurethane foam in MDI or TDI system solves the problems of odor and emission caused by polyurethane catalyst when it is used in the automotive industry, resulting in fogging of the windshield and vinyl staining.
Dabco NE300 catalyst can be used in combination with other non-volatile catalysts (such as Dabco NE1070) or with traditional volatile catalysts to reduce emissions and odors.
Dynamic headspace analysis according to the OEM VDA 278 method showed that the Dabco NE300 catalyst had no emissions. These results demonstrate that the Dabco NE300 catalyst is fully integrated with the foam. Vapor pressure measurements indicate that the volatility of the Dabco NE300 non-volatile catalyst is significantly lower than current industry standards, which means that the catalyst operation in the foam production line is less volatile.
Typical physical properties table:

Masterbatch stable
Recommendations:
The Dabco NE300 catalyst is recommended for any water-foamed TDI or TDI/MDI polyurethane high resilience (HR) foam; and TDI/MDI or MDI-based cold-cured polyurethane foam molding mat systems. Dabco NE300 non-volatile catalyst is compatible with other commonly used polyurethane catalysts and additives, and is miscible with polyols and polyol/water mixtures.
It is recommended that the dosage of Dabco NE300 catalyst is 0.1-0.2pphp in the MDI system and 0.15-0.2pphp in the TDI system.
Product Usage:
Dabco NE300 is a non-emission amine catalyst used to promote the urea (water-isocyanate) reaction. It will react into the polyurethane matrix, so it will not produce organic volatiles;
Dabco NE300 is suitable for all molded foam and high density foam applications to meet OEM distribution regulations such as VDA278;
Dabco NE300 is also used in flexible bulk foam (polyether and polyester) applications to meet Certipur or LGA requirements;
Dabco NE300 is a non-emission catalyst, which can replace Dabco BL-11 catalyst;
Dabco NE300 can be used for any water-foamed TDI or TDI/MDI high resilience foam (HR) and TDI/MDI or MDI type cold-cured polyurethane foam;
The recommended dosage of Dabco NE300 in the MDI system is 0.50-1PPHP (per 100 parts of polyol), and the recommended dosage in the TDI system is 0.4-0.7PPHP.
Shelf life:
Keep unopened for two years
Storage and transportation:
Should be sealed and stored in a dry, cool and ventilated warehouse
package:
200KG/drum Storage: It is recommended to store in a dry and cool area with proper ventilation. After the original packaging, please fasten the packaging cover as soon as possible to prevent the water and other substances from mixing into the product and affecting its performance. Store in a cool, dry place, keep the container sealed and avoid contact with oxides. Do not breathe dust, avoid skin and mucous membrane contact. Smoking, eating and drinking are prohibited in the workplace. After work, shower and change clothes. Store contaminated clothing separately and wash it before reuse. Maintain good hygiene habits. The company recommends that all polyurethane catalysts be stored in a dry, cool and properly ventilated place. All storage containers must be well sealed to avoid contact with water or other influential substances, because this may change the performance of the product in use. The storage temperature is 10°C to 30°C. Lower or higher temperatures are not suitable and should be avoided as much as possible.
