lupranate® ms can be supplied in liquid tank truck or in solid form in non-recyclable steel drums, with a barrel capacity of 235kg. tank truck transportation the temperature is maintained at 41°c to 45°c, and the temperature of the steel drum should be lower than -5°c.

save
lupranate® ms is sensitive to moisture and will turn yellow when exposed to light or exposure to air. the product will slowly self-polymerize to form dimers and precipitate out. in some special applications, the dimers may affect the performance of the final product. dimers cannot decompose under heating conditions. liquid lupranate® ms can be stored under dry n2 protection at temperatures between 41°c and 45°c for approximately 2 weeks. to prevent crystallization, which requires precise control of tank and pipe temperatures, the recommended solution is to maintain lupranate® ms circulation and use jacketed pipes. the jacket medium temperature must be strictly controlled and must not contain water, alcohol or alcohol/water mixtures. the tank bottom and pipe walls should be heated.
solid products should be stored below -5°c without contact with moisture and oxygen. the shelf life of lupranate® ms can be at least 6 months. .
the way to melt the solid product is to heat it in a hot air furnace at 80°c for 10-12 hours. the heating time should be shortened as much as possible. the product temperature should not be higher than 70°c during the heating process. local overheating must be avoided, as the product will deteriorate and generate gas above 230°c. therefore, the recommended melting method is to roll the bucket in a hot air stove at 80°c and mix thoroughly after melting. proper handling and melting can keep the product clear and prevent the formation of dimers. it is not recommended to use hot water or steam to melt, as there is a risk of water entering the barrel through leaks and reacting with isocyanate.

safety recommendations and environmental protection
labeling, transportation, storage, application, and waste disposal must comply with relevant regulations. occupational exposure limits must be observed.
lupranate® ms is harmful if inhaled. it is irritating to the eyes, respiratory system and skin. skin contact or inhalation may cause allergies.
please read the product safety data sheet before using this product.
residual materials in steel drums must be handled carefully to prevent any accidents. water or moisture can react with lupranate® ms and release carbon dioxide. water or moisture must be avoided, otherwise the steel drum may rupture under pressure.
if isocyanate products are used in the production of consumer products (such as those in contact with food or skin, toys, etc.) or medical supplies, they must comply with relevant national and international regulations. it is recommended to contact our sales staff and ecology and product safety department.

features
coronate hxt is different from the original biurets and urethane adducts. in addition to the excellent physical properties of general non-yellowing hardeners, coronate hxt is especially suitable for biurets and urethane adducts. compared with urea, it has good heat resistance and good compatibility when mixed with polyols or solvents. it is widely used in motorcycle and car parts, car repair, carpentry, etc.

solubility
coronate hxt is soluble in solvents such as ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, toluene, and xylene. however, it cannot be used with solvents such as alcohols containing active hydrogen.

when diluting
coronate hxt is diluted to 20% solid content. however, please first conduct a compatibility test with the solvent to be diluted and confirm before use. when coronate hxt is diluted to a solid content below 20%, turbidity and precipitation will occur. please use solvents with a moisture content of 0.1% or less.

compatibility
coronate hxt has excellent compatibility with other coronate products and nippollan products. it also has excellent compatibility with acrylic polyols, alkyd polyols and special-purpose fluorine-containing polyols. however, please conduct a compatibility test before use.

application
coronate hxt is mixed with acrylic polyols to produce non-yellowing coatings with excellent wear resistance and solvent resistance. it can be used for two-liquid type automotive repair, industrial use and other purposes.
two-component coatings composed of coronate hxt and alkyd polyols are used as industrial and woodworking coatings.
when coronate hxt is added with nitrocellulose, alkyd resin or polyethylene resin, it can greatly improve the solvent resistance and other physical properties of the coating.

precautions for use
● during storage and safekeeping
coronate hxt is a reactive isocyanate compound. care must be taken to avoid direct sunlight, away from moisture, and stored in a closed container. for long-term storage, please keep it in an environment with a temperature of 15~25℃.
● when using and repackaging
isocyanate is an extremely reactive substance. when reacting with moisture, carbon dioxide gas is produced. when isocyanate is placed in a container mixed with moisture and stored in a sealed container, gas is generated, which increases the pressure inside the container and may cause the container to rupture. when a certain amount is taken from a container, deterioration may occur due to the effect of moisture in the air. therefore, before sealing again after opening, it must be fully replaced with dry air, and great care must be taken to prevent moisture from being mixed in.
● when diluting
when diluting coronate hxt with a solvent, you must not only pay attention to the moisture content in the solvent, but also pay attention to preventing moisture from mixing during the dilution operation. please perform dilution work in a dry room.

security
● coronate hxt contains solvents and isocyanates, so care must be taken when using it.
● when using, please follow the requirements of the material safety data sheet (msds).
● this product is flammable. please use it in fire-free areas.
● this product should avoid contact with eyes or skin. please wear protective glasses, gloves and other protective equipment when using.
● when spraying paint containing this product, to prevent steam and mist from entering your eyes or nose, please wear protective gear such as protective glasses and gas masks.
●the free isocyanate content of this product is less than 1%. it will not increase in height if stored for a long time.

lupranate® mi liquefied mdi mdi-50 101-68-8

chemical properties
lupranate® mi is a pure mdi product, but contains a higher proportion of the 2,4′ isomer than lupranate® ms. the higher 2,4′-iso conformation makes mi products at room temperature. liquid and relatively low reactivity. from a chemical structure perspective, the 2,4′ isomer is more flexible than the 4,4′ isomer, and its functionality is 2.0.

application
lupranate® mi provides isocyanate groups in the production of flexible, semi-flexible and microcellular polyurethane foams for the production of adhesives and sealants.

shipping
lupranate® mi can be supplied in tank trucks or non-recyclable steel drums, with a barrel capacity of 250kg. if transported by road tanker, the temperature should be controlled between 23°c and 30°c, and the temperature of barrel transportation should not be lower than the freezing point. exposure to strong light should be avoided.

save
lupranate® mi should be protected from moisture, oxygen and ultraviolet light to cause discoloration, but discoloration does not affect product application. the ideal storage temperature is between 23°c and 30°c. under this temperature condition, avoiding moisture and oxygen, lupranate® mi can be stored for at least 3 months. barrels must be airtight and storage tanks must be nitrogen sealed. if left for too long, dimers will be formed to produce suspended solids and precipitation. when the temperature is lower than 15-20°c, the 4,4′ isomer will crystallize out and must be heated and melted immediately. the heating time should be as short as possible. the solid can be melted by heating at 80°c for 8 to 12 hours, but its precipitation temperature is different. if the heating time is too long or too high, the melted lupranate® mi may be turbid due to the formation of unmeltable polymer. also note that heating and stirring must be uniform because the crystallization temperatures of the 2,4′ isomer and the 4,4′ isomer are different.
storage at high temperatures may cause discoloration or formation of solids, which will not melt when heated.
